CASUAL DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL - Saskatoon Enhanced Supported Independent Living
The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts that include days, evenings, and weekends. Hours are dependent on the need to fill in on personal holidays, stat holidays, sick days, and any other vacancy, not to fill a permanent rotation in the schedule.
A valid Sask. Full Class 5 or Sask. Novice 2 driver's license is required. This location supports service users who smoke and/or vape.
Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community.
Requirements
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
A valid Sask. Drivers License and access to reliable transportation
Preferred
3-6 Months Experience (volunteer or employment)
Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field
