About this role
The Sonographer is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring a safe, compassionate, and professional patient experience. This role requires strong technical expertise, clinical judgment, and the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations (e.g., abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and musculoskeletal imaging)
Prepare patients, obtain history, and explain procedures clearly
Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Ensure accurate documentation and maintain imaging records
Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain patient safety, privacy, and infection control standards
Support workflow efficiency in both scheduled and urgent environments
Qualifications & Requirements
Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
Registration with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan (CMRIPS).
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound procedures
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Work schedule
MondayFriday (8:00 AM5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch break)

Requirements
Compensation Details
Starts at $40/hr. Negotiable depending on experience
