About this role
Must have valid H2S Alive and First Aid tickets. A valid driver's licence is a requirement for this position as well as a Fall Protection ticket.
Preference will be given to those holding a Class 1A or heavy-duty training certificate with an air endorsement. Prior experience on a service rig is required for this position.
We pay above the CAOEC current rates. We supply and clean FR coveralls. We supply hard hats, safety glasses, gloves and after the first 30 days of employment you are eligible for the boot allowance program.
We have a great benefit program, we supply the first 30 days in a hotel for non local hires, offer an RRSP loyalty bonus, there is a guarantee bi-weekly wage available as well as a signing bonus.
This position is physically demanding, and involves working in harsh weather conditions for long hours. Responsibilities include general duties on a service rig - operating the pump unit, handling, sorting and moving pipe, tools and other materials. Manipulating sections of pipe in the derrick during removal and replacement of pipe and rods. Maintenance of equipment and housekeeping duties on the rig. Assist in setting up, taking down and transporting the rig and service equipment from location to location.
