Dental Assistant

We are looking for a dependable, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant.

The suitable candidate must be friendly with strong communication and problem solving skills, can multi-task and work well in a fast paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate in Dental Assisting
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer skills
• Should be self motivated and be able to work independently within a fast paced environment
• Must be able to multi task and work under pressure
• Must be friendly, professional, highly organized with an attention to detail
• Must be able to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greeting and preparing patients for examinations and dental treatment
• Preparing and setting up for dental procedures
• Chair side Assisting including patient charting
• Preparing and taking x-rays
• Sterilization and Infection Control: cleaning, disinfecting dental instruments preparing and setting up for dental procedures
• Various administrative and reception duties

Salary to be negotiated based on experience
