Overview

Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP is seeking a Court Runner/File Clerk for full time work. The candidate should be professional, have a positive attitude, possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Computer knowledge of Word and Excel. A high level of confidentiality must be always maintained in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Handling Documents: Picking up and delivering documents to and from the Courthouse, law firms, banks and downtown businesses on foot, multiple times daily.

Court Filings/Organization: Assisting with general administrative tasks including filing, copying and binding.

General Office Support: Covering reception duties as needed, greeting clients, answering a multi-line phone and directing calls. Answering general inquiries, accepting payment from clients, handling and maintaining a log of incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries/pickups.

Communication: Actively and efficiently communicate with all staff to ensure all delivery instructions are clear.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Some lifting and use of stairs are required.
