Location: Regina Head Office. This role is eligible for hybrid work  this means youll have the flexibility of working from home and in the office, on a scheduled rotation once probation requirements have been met. Until then, the successful incumbent will be expected to work on-site, full-time.

Pay Range: $75,691 - $95,521

Were looking for a Corporate Underwriting Analyst to join our team. In this role, youll investigate complex underwriting questions, identify opportunities to improve guidelines and processes, and work with partners across the business to support sound underwriting decisions for SGI and its customers.

What youll do

Assess complex underwriting scenarios where guidelines may be unclear or evolving

Identify gaps or trends and recommend improvements to guidelines or processes

Work with Operations, Product, and Systems to resolve issues and support changes

Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

Typically, these skills are gained through a four-year degree in a relevant field of study, such as Business along with 5-7 years experience in insurance with at least 5 years in Personal Lines automobile insurance underwriting.
