Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the positions of two part-time Food Services Cook/Clerk (15-24 hours/week) at our TJ's/ Chester's Fried Chicken location in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan.
What You Will Do
- Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members' lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain accurately to guests.
- Prepare food neatly and according to standard recipes, package takeout orders, and ensure timely service.
- Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards throughout food preparation, service, and cleanup.
- Check and monitor product in food preparation area and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout shift.
- Use the Point of Sale (POS) system to enter orders, calculate bills, and provide change.
- Operate manual and electric appliances, as well as other food preparation tools and equipment.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Perform light paperwork duties as assigned.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Experience with food preparation and food safety, or you are willing to learn.
- Able to fulfill the physical job requirement including standing for entire shirt and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work in a fast paced, guest-facing environment.
- Flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
