Continuing Care Assistant

All Ways of Caring Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Continuing Care Assistants (CCAs) / Caregivers to provide quality, person-centred care to clients in their homes in ROSTHERN and surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

Provide companionship and emotional support.

Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as required.

Provide medication reminders according to the clients care plan.

Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment.

Assist clients with appointments, errands, and community activities when required.

Observe and report changes in the clients physical or emotional condition.

Follow individualized care plans and company policies.

Maintain client dignity, privacy, independence, and confidentiality.

Communicate professionally with clients, families, and other members of the care team.

Qualifications & Requirements

CCA certification or equivalent healthcare training is preferred.

Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or personal care is an asset.

Must have a valid drivers licence and be able to drive.

Must have reliable access to a vehicle and be willing to travel to clients homes in Rosthern and surrounding areas.

Must be willing and able to travel as required for client assignments.

Current CPR/First Aid certification is an asset.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate, patient, reliable, and respectful.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check may be required.
