Companion/residential housecleaner for Seniors

Our nonprofit is looking for a caring and dependable contract worker to provide in home support and companionship to seniors throughout Moose Jaw.

Many seniors in our community have little or no family support and may go days or even weeks without seeing anyone. This work is about more than housecleaning. While you help keep their home clean and safe, you also provide something just as important: companionship.

You might share a cup of tea, visit and listen, help make a batch of muffins, share a laugh or simply spend some time together. For some seniors, you may be one of the few people they regularly see.

Duties include housecleaning, companionship, light yard care and simple household assistance that helps seniors remain safely and independently in their own homes.

Contract rate is $20 per hour. You choose your hours.

Our program serves seniors with limited incomes, so we are looking for someone who genuinely cares about older adults and wants to make a difference in their community.

Already have your own cleaning or home support clients? If you have a few hours available each week, we would be happy to hear from you.

Applicants must have a clean Vulnerable Sector criminal record check, be bondable, have a valid Saskatchewan driver's licence, their own reliable vehicle and please provide a copy of your business liability insurance.

Senior citizens are welcome to apply.
