Clinical Counsellor

PARTNERS Family Services is accepting applications for the position of Clinical Counsellor. There are 2, full time and permanent positions available:

1. Melfort - delivering services to children, youth and adults
2. Humboldt - delivering services primarily to children and youth

PARTNERS staff provide a safe, confidential and welcoming environment that assists individuals and families to meet their immediate and on going needs. The Counsellor will primarily work with clients facing a variety of challenges including mood disorders, trauma, grief, conduct disorders, family disharmony, etc. in our Rapid Access Clinics

Requirements

• Appropriate post secondary education and current registration with a recognized counselling governing body i.e SASW, CAPC, CCAC, etc
• Minimum of two years experience in a counselling role, with established competencies in solution focused therapy, CBT, DBT or other recognized modalities
• Proficiency in intake, assessment, file management, case planning, etc
• Experience collaborating and with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordination of services to clients
• Strong team work capacity, highly organized, and capable of managing varied demands
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor
• Computer competencies
• Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector screening
