Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Clerk/Cashier (15-24 hours/week) at our C-Store & WSB location in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan.
What You Will Do
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to accurately and efficiently process sales and payments.
- Provide pump island service; serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, wash vehicle windows, and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Receive, stock, and face merchandise with a focus on visually appealing presentation.
- Maintain a safe, efficient work area while following all policies, procedures, and social responsibility standards for selling age-restricted products, including alcohol, lottery tickets, and tobacco.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Serve It Right Certification is an asset; however, training will be provided to the successful applicant.
- Attentive to detail and possess strong cash management skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
- Able to fulfill physical job requirements, including standing, kneeling, performing regular heavy lifting, and working in various indoor and outdoor temperatures.
- Flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
