Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for participants, staff, and visitors.
The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, respectful, and able to work independently while maintaining confidentiality in an addiction-support setting.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize offices, common areas, washrooms, kitchens, and participant spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces.
Empty garbage and recycling.
Restock cleaning, hygiene, and washroom supplies.
Follow proper cleaning and infection-control procedures.
Report maintenance, safety, or supply concerns to management.
Respect participant privacy and maintain confidentiality.
Complete cleaning duties according to assigned schedules and organizational standards.
Qualifications
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an asset.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Strong attention to detail.
Respectful and professional when working around participants and staff.
Comfortable working in an addiction and recovery environment.
Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment.
