Childcare Business Administrator

Reporting directly to Finance Department, this position works closely with Childcare Centre Directors to support day-to-day operations while maintaining financial oversight of accounts. Responsible for enrollment/registration coordination, parent account communication & government reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Enrollment & Parent Account Management

Manage enrollment & unenrollment of children across all childcare locations

Manage childcare waitlists & respond to families regarding waitlist inquires & submissions

Maintain accurate & up-to-date childcare records

Communicate with families regarding account updates, billing, overdue accounts & inquiries

Provide timely & professional customer service while resolving account-related concerns

Report all required documentation & enrollment verification through portal for Ministry of Education

Provide Administrative overview at Harbour Landing P3 site to meet compliance with Ministry of Education

Perform monthly reconciliations of childcare enrolments to revenue

Operational Coordination

Collaborate with Childcare Centre Directors & Pedagogical Leads across all locations to support administrative & financial processes

Troubleshoot enrollment, billing & operational issues

Qualifications

Certificate, diploma or degree in Business administration. This is required as per Ministry of Education P3 School Agreement

Financial or childcare administration experience is an asset, with strong organizational, communication & problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
