Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the positions of two full-time Cashiers (40 hours/week) at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.
What You Will Do
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Perform cashier duties, including assisting customers, processing purchases, bagging groceries, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process cash, debit, credit, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Stock and face front-end merchandise with a focus on visually appealing presentation.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Attentive to detail and possess strong cash management skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
- Able to fulfill physical job requirements, including standing for long periods of time with some repetitive movements.
- Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
