The Caseworker in Treatment Foster Care is a pivotal member of the team, managing a caseload and providing essential clinical leadership and resources. In this role, the Caseworker is responsible for conducting clinical assessments, offering counseling, developing treatment plans, advocating for clients, and coordinating team training and case management. They also offer vital clinical consultation to treatment foster parents, reunification families, and educational teams, ensuring seamless communication between all stakeholders through written reports, consultations, and daily interactions.
Qualifications
Education and Professional Certification
- A Masters degree in psychology, educational psychology, social work, or a related human service field is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelors degree who are pursuing a Masters degree and/or have relevant work experience will also be considered.
Experience
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working with individuals who have complex needs, behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, or related issues.
- Experience with clinical interventions and assessments for vulnerable populations.
- Clinical Experience working with younger children (6-11 years) and families is mandatory.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in clinical and ethical issues related to the care and support of individuals with complex needs, behavioral issues, developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and/or other related issues.
