Building Materials Sales Representative

A to Z Building Materials in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative with established industry contacts and a proven track record in selling building materials and home renovation products.

The ideal candidate will have existing relationships with contractors, builders, developers, renovators, dealers and other industry professionals, along with the ability to generate new business and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of our building materials and renovation products, including doors, flooring, tiles, mouldings, hardware, plywood, MDF boards, kitchen accessories and bathroom fixtures.
• Leverage existing industry contacts to generate sales and develop long-term business relationships.
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, builders, developers and renovation companies.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to increase repeat business and sales revenue.
• Understand customer project requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing within company guidelines and close sales.
• Follow up on leads, quotations and orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Work toward sales targets and contribute to the companys overall business growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales of building materials, construction supplies or home renovation products is required.
• An established network of industry contacts and an existing customer base are highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, develop accounts, negotiate and close sales.
• Strong knowledge of building materials and their applications.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
