Brand Ambassador & Sales Intern

Carzan is a Saskatchewan-based Canadian beef jerky company built from the ranch up. We raise cattle in Saskatchewan's Touchwood Hills and are growing Carzan into a national CPG brand.

We're looking for an outgoing, motivated student who wants real-world experience in sales, retail, CPG and entrepreneurship.

This isn't an internship where you'll spend four months watching from the sidelines. You'll work directly alongside Carzan's founders before increasingly heading into the market independently to represent and grow the brand.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Conduct in-store demos and product sampling
• Travel throughout Saskatchewan representing Carzan
• Prospect and cold-call potential retail accounts
• Visit and build relationships with existing retailers
• Generate new wholesale and retail sales
• Represent Carzan at consumer and CPG trade shows
• Follow up with sales leads and prospective accounts
• Learn firsthand how a growing CPG company operates

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You should be confident talking to people, comfortable walking into a business and starting a conversation, motivated by results, able to work independently and interested in sales, entrepreneurship, marketing or business development.

Some evening/weekend work and travel will be required.

STUDENT ELIGIBILITY

This position is supported through Venture for Canada. Applicants must be enrolled full- or part-time at an accredited Canadian college or university and remain enrolled/completing program requirements for at least the first 30 days of the internship.

Applicants must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person with refugee status and legally eligible to work in Canada. International students and recent graduates are not eligible. A formal co-op program is not required.

COMPENSATION

$22/hour + performance-based commission.

Four-month term with potential for an additional term based on performance and continued eligibility.
