Bingo Caller

If you have a big voice and a big personality, we encourage you to apply for the Bingo Caller position at Yorkton & District Charities Bingo. As a Bingo Caller, you deliver the bingo numbers to our bingo patrons, and make sure the games move smoothly and are recorded properly.

This position can be combined with the Bingo Supervisor position if desired.

Key Responsibilities

1.     Prior to the start of the bingo, announce the rules of bingo
2.     Announce each bingo game and special game and how it is played
3.     Call and record bingo numbers for each game
4.     Verify winning cards with volunteers on the floor, and announce prize amounts
5.     Provide a lively and enjoyable experience for the players

What You Bring

1.     Ability to have fun on the job.
2.     A love for being in front of people with no fear of public speaking.
3.     Good vision and peripheral vision, as well as good hearing.
4.     Friendly, patient, and understanding of the players needs.
5.     Benefit from a varied part-time schedule, working flexible hours, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
6.     Bingo Caller experience is an asset.
7.     Must qualify for licensing with Saskatchewan Liquor & Gaming Authority.
