• Duties

Prepare a variety of baked goods, including sourdough loaves and starter-based products, following established recipes and standards

Develop recipes and establish dough schedule

Assist in food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations

Support overall food preparation activities, including ingredient measurement and assembly

Assisting in tracking inventory levels

Package baked items carefully for retail display or customer orders to maintain freshness and presentation

Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas to uphold food safety standards

• Requirements

Must have previous experience in bread baking from scratch in a bakery setting

Experience in baking a variety of breads with a strong focus on European style loaves and rolls, especially sourdough

Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices

Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail

Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude

Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights as needed

Enthusiasm for learning new techniques in baking, decorating, and food presentation
