Assistant Parts Manager

In this role you will assist in the day-to-day mgmt of the Parts dept by growing sales, driving customer satisfaction & enhancing overall efficiencies. In one of Canadas top John Deere dealer organizations you will create quality experiences in a friendly & collaborative environment that encourages learning & growth.

Responsibilities

• Support all dept processes focused on customer satisfaction
• Schedule/assign tasks based on skills/knowledge
• Develop/execute marketing plan to achieve goals
• Resolve customer concerns with focus on satisfaction, retention, growth
• Provide support & expertise on various systems
• Support dept profitability & performance
• Help motivate/inspire/assist employees through coaching, training, development
• Participate in all dept functions including attraction/retention/effective engagement of staff
• Problem solve/troubleshoot to locate parts & resources for customers

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in Parts Dept ops
• Parts Mgmt Tech cert preferred
• Experience leading/developing others an asset
• Exemplary customer service skills
• Knowledge/familiarity with John Deere ag & competitive products
• Parts Mgr role, or senior Parts Tech looking to guide growth/development of a dept
