Arena Facility Operators

Arena Facility Operators will be responsible for duties including:

Operating the ice resurfacer (Zamboni), resurfacing ice and maintaining ice quality;

Monitoring the ice plant and completing routine and daily inspections;

Cleaning dressing rooms, washrooms, lobby, bleachers and other facility areas;

Emptying garbage and recycling and stocking washroom supplies;

Following established cleaning schedules and checklists;

Providing additional cleaning and on-site attendance during tournaments, busy periods and scheduled rentals;

Snow and ice removal from entrances, walkways and emergency exits;

Minor building and equipment maintenance and repairs;

Opening and closing the facility;

Assisting with setup and takedown for rentals, tournaments and special events;

Monitoring the facility for safety hazards, maintenance concerns and equipment issues;

Completing a deep cleaning of the arena during the Christmas break; and

Other rink-related duties as required
