APPRENTICE GAS FITTER Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Instrumentation & Combustion Manager, the Apprentice Gas Fitter supports Primec's field operations by assisting with the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of natural gas and propane-fired equipment.
Working under the guidance of experienced Journeyman Gas Fitters and Combustion Technicians, this role provides hands-on training in gas fitting, combustion systems, and customer service while ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations
Education and Experience
Registered Apprentice Gas Fitter or willingness to enroll in a recognized provincial apprenticeship program
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Previous experience in gas fitting, mechanical trades, oil & gas, construction or related industries is considered an asset
Experience working in industrial or field environments is considered an asset
