GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Reporting to the Provincial Manager, Application Services, Application Analysts are client-focused programmers/analysts responsible for: developing an understanding of business enterprise requirements and workflows, standards and nomenclature; business analysis (or working with the business analyst); assessing, designing and modifying software applications; modifying vendor software, documenting business rules; providing training of other analysts and business unit staff; providing ongoing technical management of specified applications; and, providing support to project teams or other applications analysts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelors degree in computer science, business administration, or engineering plus 2 years directly related experience or a diploma in computer technology or engineering plus 5 years directly related experience.
- Certification in various operating systems/software applications as required.
Experience
- Experience in an application analyst role in a highly integrated IT environment.
- HL7 experience preferred.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft's application development ecosystem including Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), Power BI, Azure DevOps, Git source control, CI/CD pipelines, and YAML-based automation for enterprise application delivery.
