Key Responsibilities
Support the development, coordination, and delivery of regenerative agriculture & sustainability programs. Collaborate with producers, researchers, industry partners, and the business development team to design, implement, evaluate, and improve programs. Assist with program planning, budgets, reporting, grant applications, funding proposals, and new research and partnership opportunities. Coordinate on-farm research, field-scale trials, sustainability initiatives, and carbon programs at our own as well as producer demonstration sites. Work with technical partners to coordinate project implementation, monitoring, and data collection across Northeastern Saskatchewan. Install and operate field monitoring equipment and collect, analyze, interpret, and communicate agronomic, environmental, and sustainability data. Build strong producer and industry relationships, recruit and support program participants, provide practical agronomic guidance, and share research and program outcomes through field tours, workshops, conferences, meetings, reports, presentations, and educational materials.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or a related field, with a strong understanding of crop production, soil health, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable farming systems. Experience with agricultural research, field trials, program coordination, and agronomic or environmental data is an asset, while an established agricultural network in Northeastern Saskatchewan is preferred. Candidates should have excellent communication, relationship-building, organizational, and project management skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital agricultural technologies. A valid Class 5 drivers license and willingness to travel throughout Northeastern Saskatchewan and work outdoors during the growing season are required.
