Ag Equipment Mechanic (Service Technician)

Our Techs deliver exceptional service by repairing/maintaining ag/turf equipment. In one of Canadas top John Deere dealers you will deliver quality work in a friendly & collaborative environment that encourages learning & growth. This is a great chance to use state of the art ag tech & be part of the future of agriculture. Shift on PDI/repair side of the shop is new & may rotate morning/afternoon/evening (may include modified/compressed week). This role is eligible for Shift Premiums in addition to base wage.

Responsibilities

• Inspection/diagnosis/repair/service of ag equipment, committed to customer support & pride in workmanship
• Diagnose & complete complex repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere ag products
• Participate in training to further develop technical skills

Requirements

• Ability to use diagnostic tools, computer functions
• 3+ years of exp with complex repairs
• Journeyperson Ag Tech cert ideal, or equivalent (i.e. Heavy Equipment, Auto)
• We may consider a 3rd/4th year Apprenticeship candidate
• Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere & competitive products an asset
