About this role
Northlands College is seeking an Adult Basic Education (ABE) Instructor. For our Clearwater River Dene Nation Location. The Instructor's primary responsibility will be to effectively deliver Saskatchewan curriculum content to students registered in Adult 12 program. Areas of instruction may include but are not limited to: ELA 30, Financial Literacy 30, Science at a 20 level, Math at a 20 or 30 level, Indigenous Studies 30, and 30 level Electives.
As the primary in-class Adult 12 Instructor for the Adult 12 & Tri-Trades Dual Credit Program, the Instructor works collaboratively with program partners, trades instructors, and support staff to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. The instructor will play a crucial role in ensuring that program learning objectives are met, and students are engaged and motivated to learn. Overall, the aim will be to create a positive and successful learning environment that fosters student achievement and success.
Candidate should have a Bachelor of Education and must have a valid Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate, and be eligible to register with Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board (SPTRB).
The Term starts on August 31, 2026 and ends on June 29, 2027.

The wage range is $305.38 to $516.41 per day
