Job Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, and under the general direction of the Manager, the primary goal will be to restore, maintain and enhance the recovery of people seeking help for addiction and / or addiction related issues by implementing various modalities or addiction recovery programs. Responsibilities include providing informational programming as well as individual and group counseling sessions with clients. This position will be expected to assess individual and group needs of clients and implement plans to help clients reach their goals.

Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Knowledge in Transtheoretical model of change
- Knowledge in best practices in addictions and harm reduction strategies
- Ability to make appropriate referrals
- Knowledge in addictions screening, assessment tools and procedures
