The Ministry of Highways is seeking a motivated Equipment Operator for the Geikie River Section within the Operations and Maintenance Division. Candidates must have experience operating, servicing, and maintaining heavy equipment such as graders, tandem trucks, loaders, and snowplows. Knowledge of workplace safety, traffic control, occupational health requirements, hazardous materials, and heavy equipment systems including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, fuel, and lubrication systems is required. Strong communication, critical thinking, interpersonal, digital, self-management, and safety skills are essential.

A valid Class 1A driver's licence is required. Duties include coordinating daily crew activities, operating and maintaining heavy equipment, performing highway maintenance and winter snow and ice control, monitoring equipment use, maintaining records, and supporting safe, efficient transportation operations.
