The Ministry of Highways is seeking a motivated Equipment Operator to join the Watson Section of the Saskatoon District. Candidates must possess a valid Class 1A driver's licence and knowledge of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and servicing. Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, fuel, and lubrication systems, workplace safety practices, traffic control procedures, and occupational health and hazardous materials requirements is essential. Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required.

Duties include coordinating daily crew activities, assigning work, monitoring equipment use and compliance with operating procedures, operating and maintaining heavy equipment such as tandem trucks, graders, loaders, and snowplows, performing highway maintenance and snow and ice control, and maintaining records of equipment, repairs, and materials used.
