Candidates should possess knowledge of the Canadian criminal justice system and human behaviour to support rehabilitation and reintegration. A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's licence (or equivalent) and a valid First Aid and CPR/AED certificate are required. Relevant qualifications may include a degree in Social Sciences, a diploma in Law Enforcement, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A medical evaluation is required as part of the employment process.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety and security within the facility, supervising and interacting with offenders, contributing to case planning and reintegration efforts, leading offender programming, interpreting legislation and policy, assessing risk, and responding to incidents using safe and effective intervention strategies.
