Job Information
The Licensing and Administration Clerk provides licensing, administrative and support services and records vendor returns in the licensing information system for the North Slave region. This position is responsible for issuing all accountable forms including hunting and fishing licenses, permits, wildlife tags and maintaining vendor files, maintaining inventory of all accountable forms, maintaining cash control and petty cash systems, and performing administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the departmental contact for vendors of permits, licenses, and tags to ensure procedures are followed and all forms are accounted for.
Issues Licenses under the authority of Acts and Regulations.
Maintains the region's inventory of licenses, permits, tags, fur cheques, and other assets (including all accountable forms).
Maintains a cash control system.
Assists with the Administration of the Fur Pricing Program.
Performs other administrative functions.
Key Qualifications
Grade 12 diploma, with office procedures and/or general accounting coursework combined and one year of related administrative experience.
Related administrative experience may include record keeping, data management, data entry, bookkeeping, office management, etc.

Salary Information
The salary range for this position is from $39.26 per hour to $46.89 per hour (approximately $76,557 - $91,436 annually) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
