Job Information

The Commission scolaire francophone des Territoires du nord-ouest (CSFTNO) is looking for an energetic, caring, and creative Educator, Out of School Care to help make after-school hours the best part of a child's day! You will create fun activities, encourage friendships, support learning through play, and help children thrive in a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver fun, age-appropriate activities and programming.

Supervise and actively engage with children in a safe and supportive environment.

Promote positive behavior, cooperation, and problem-solving skills.

Maintain a clean, safe, and accessible play space.

Communicate effectively with families and team members.

Track attendance and report incidents or concerns as required.

Qualifications & Experience

High school diploma and at least 1 year of childcare experience.

Current First Aid and Infant/Child CPR certification.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Advanced French language skills (oral and reading) and intermediate writing skills required.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is from $31.58 per hour to $37.74 per hour, plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700 pro-rated to the number of hours worked.
