Job Information
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bilingual Program Support Assistant to help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for students. In this role, you will support teachers in delivering academic and cultural programming, both inside and outside the classroom, and help students reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities include
Supporting classroom instruction in reading, writing, and math
Assisting students individually or in small groups, including those with special needs
Helping prepare learning materials and classroom resources
Supervising students during classroom, recess, lunch, and extracurricular activities
Supporting cultural, sports, and school events
Assisting with student progress tracking and communication with teachers
Qualifications/experience
Secondary school diploma and Completion of a Program Support Assistant certificate or college diploma
French language proficiency (Advanced level required: oral, reading, and writing)
Equivalencies
High school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of direct related experience in a school environment
