The Graduate Leadership Program aims to develop future leaders of Bell, who will help us to continue to be recognized as Canada’s leading communications company. New grads in this program gain expertise in data analytics, marketing, and operations while working with the brightest minds in the industry to provide actionable insights that influence business decisions across the company. This unique and accelerated program will not only give you extensive knowledge and hands-on experience working on complex business issues, it will also enable you to develop your leadership skills. 

How the program works:

By launching your career at Bell through the Marketing, Operations, and Applied Technologies program, you will build the foundational knowledge required to excel as a leader. Make the most of our program’s rotational structure to explore different facets of our organization, enhance your professional skills, and build your career in the telecommunications industry - all while delivering the best customer experience to our consumer and small business clients.

Program structure:

  • Learn from the customer: Your first 2 months are spent on the front lines gaining a 360° view of the customer experience.
  • Learn the business: Apply your front line experience during two business rotations. Choose from a wide range of rotation options and work with your Program Manager and mentors to craft a career path that is unique to you.
  • Land into a permanent position: Leverage your learnings from the program to drive change that will move the business forward.

Upon completion of the program, you will have the knowledge, skills, network, and breadth of experience to accelerate your career as the next generation of leaders at Bell.

What is the day-to-day like?

Depending on the business rotations you are in, you may:

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for next generation telecommunication products and services.
  • Build business cases with opportunities to improve customer experience for approval up to the executive level.
  • Take leadership roles in deep dives and business case activities, providing statistical data/root cause analysis to increase company performance.
  • Assess market competition and make recommendations to senior leadership based on market data and competitive analysis.
  • Champion projects by working with agency partners to launch marketing campaigns, partner with vendors to manage our supply chains, and work closely with Business Intelligence to implement process optimizations.

You should apply if:

  • You are excited about telecommunications and the impact we have in the lives of Canadians. 
  • You have a demonstrated curiosity, initiative, leadership and a passion for learning new skills.
  • You have a university degree completed before the program start date and no earlier than two years before your application date.
  • Your degree is in business, business technology management, engineering, computer science, math/statistics, economics, business analytics, or social sciences.
  • You are interested in driving organizational change and taking on new challenges.
  • You are analytical, and can see beyond the numbers to determine the business impact driven by insights and metrics.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • You understand the basic principles of working with large and complex datasets
  • You are flexible to work in different locations within the Greater Toronto Area, or within Montreal.
  • Introductory experience or desire to learn data tools and software such as SQL, SAS, Tableau and MicroStrategy is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset in Ontario and a requirement in Quebec.
